Research themes

AI in education, blending learning, computer assisted language learning (CALL), materials design, program development, and student interest.

My current research interest is the use of the ADDIE Instructional Design Model in the development of course-specific (academic reading and writing) materials.

Brief explanation of research

Research Project Overview:
Today, students are learning English using technology more than any other means. With increased access, power, and speed, educators can now develop student interest and improve academic engagement through the design of customized blended learning (academic reading and writing) materials. This research project utilizes Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), AI-generated content, and the ADDIE instructional design model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) to create course-specific educational materials.

Research Project Purpose:
The purpose of this research project is to investigate university students' interests, experiences, and preferences in blended learning environments in order to design course-specific materials that enhance student personal interest across different educational areas.
